Convert Your Campus into An I.A.Y.P Camp with All Safety Protocols
Valid for Bronze & Silver Levels
Now as per the New Normal we can Convert our Own School Campus into a Bubble Exclusive IAYP Campsite as per the Govt of India Safety Protocols following all safety norms and ensuring that the IAYP Campers can complete their Adventurous Journeys to fulfill their Camp Requirements.
We have designed a special integrated customized camp covering most of the activities and requirements as per the Syllabus Levels of Test Awards and have well crafted the activities with Safety protocols . Taking into consideration the covid safety protocols and as per the IAF acknowledges that given the nature of the pandemic a new approach it is necessary to unlock the barriers with a motive to encourage campers to participate in their Award Levels and achieve their participation in the Adventurous Journeys adapting to change in the New Normal.
The School is converted into a Camping Zone and Campers can do Day camping as well as Night Camping in Alpine tents or Quarantine Classrooms amidst all safety protocols as per Govt jurisdiction guidelines applicable.

With the [ V.O.C ] Virtual Online Camp we can now conduct the entire Award Camp on the Virtual Licensed Platform integrating Key Task & activities along with Practical demonstrations and Actions along with Reflection writing . Our Educators are well trained Tech Savvy with the latest Technology based on the 21st Century Skills and undertaking Activities based on
Life Skills,Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Experiential Learning, Activity Based Learning along with all Hands on Experiences.
Option 03 : Physical Camping Destinations
Valid for Bronze Silver & Gold Levels
Coming back to Normal as per safety protocols we can always camp at locations in and around the Vicinity of the school or area and can also maintain complete Safety protocols and hygiene safety for all our Campers . Going forward we can ensure if the numbers are suitable we can block the campsite exclusively for our campers.

Age : 14 to 25 years

BRONZE LEVEL
SKILL: 3 MONTHS
Regular effort and improvement must and any qualifications gained must be mentioned in a report.
SERVICE: 3 MONTHS
Regular attendance at a preferred service center must be insured and a detailed account of all practical work done must be submitted. Any specific qualifications/achievements must also be included in the account.
PHYSICAL RECREATION: 3 MONTHS
Regular effort must be made to improve the level of physical fitness. A detailed account of the nature of the skill and extent of training is necessary. Any qualifications gained must be mentioned in this account.
ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY : 2 DAYS+1 NIGHTS
To Encourage a spirit of Adventure & Discovery
Safety Precautions: Safety factors regarding expedition techniques, appropriate clothing, equipment, sensibleload carrying, efficient route planning etc. Discipline to be discussed.Procedure to deal with any type of accident.
MAP READING: Definition,folding, types, scale of maps. Use of conventional signs and symbols, eastingand northing. Use of maps in route planning.
USEOF COMPASS: Elementary compass work, points of compass,magnetic north and magnetic variations. Directions, purpose, plotting andconversion of magnetic and grid bearings. Practical work in setting up a mapand using a compass.

Note:
1. In case of skill, service and physical recreation sections students need to put in 13 weeks in each section spreadover 3 months, which can be broken down to 1 hour per week spent on each section for 3 months with regularity.
2. The activities need to be done outside normal school academic hours.
3. All participants must do an extra 3 months in either physical recreation or skills or service.
4. Approximate Training to be undertaken before the Qualifying Adventurous Journey
SILVER LEVEL
SKILL: 6 MONTHS
Regular effort and improvement must and any qualifications gained must be mentioned in a report.
SERVICE: 6 MONTHS
Regular attendance at a preferred service center must be insured and a detailed account of all practical work done must be submitted. Any specific qualifications/achievements must also be included in the account.
PHYSICAL RECREATION: 6 MONTHS
Regular effort must be made to improve the level of physical fitness. A detailed account of the nature of the skill and extent of training is necessary. Any qualifications gained must be mentioned in this account.
ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY : 3 DAYS+2 NIGHTS
To Encourage a spirit of Adventure & Discovery
Safety Precautions: Safety factors regarding expedition techniques, appropriate clothing, equipment, sensible load carrying, efficient route planning etc. Discipline to be discussed. Procedure to deal with any type of accident.
MAP READING: Recognition of contour, slopes, direction, etc. Use of maps with the particular reference to route planning.
USEOF COMPASS: Further training and practice. Understanding of direction finding by day.

Note:

3. All non bronze holders (i.e. those applying directly for the silver award) must do an extra 6 months in either physical recreation or skills or service.
4. Approximate Training to be undertaken before the Qualifying Adventurous Journey
GOLD LEVEL
SKILL: 12 MONTHS
Regular effort and improvement must and any qualifications gained must be mentioned in a report.
SERVICE: 12 MONTHS
Regular attendance at a preferred service center must be insured and a detailed account of all practical work done must be submitted. Any specific qualifications/achievements must also be included in the account.
PHYSICAL RECREATION: 12 MONTHS
Regular effort must be made to improve the level of physical fitness. A detailed account of the nature of the skill and extent of training is necessary. Any qualifications gained must be mentioned in this account.
ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY : 4 DAYS+3 NIGHTS
To Encourage a spirit of Adventure & Discovery
Safety Precautions: Additional training appropriate to the nature of the venture. Knowledge of the safety precautions that must be observed in unexplored countries.
MAP READING: Further training and practices in advanced map work.
USEOF COMPASS: Understanding of direction finding by night.

Residential Project
Aim :-
To broaden experience through involvement with others in a residential setting
Duration :-
5 days + 4 nights

Participants must give details of personal standards, relationships with others, acceptance ofresponsibilities, initiative and general progress.

1. In case of skill, service and physical recreation sections students need to put in 52 weeks in each section spread over 12 months, which can be broken down to 1 hour per week spent on each section for 12 months with regularity.
2. The activities need to be done outside normal school academic hours.
3. All non silver holders must do an extra 6 months in physical recreation or skills or service + residential project.
4. Approximate Training to be undertaken before the Qualifying Adventurous Journey
